Meet Lee Gangles
Your students have the rest of their academic lives to prepare for standardized tests. Take a break. Give them something they won’t forget. Something that will fuel their inner creative. Invite Lee Gangles your classroom!

Why? Because Lee Gangles knows the importance of developing creativity. Creativity is a skill that applies to any task, trade, business, or pursuit. Creativity separates those who are good at what they do from those who are successful.
No matter what path your students follow—STEM or the arts—creativity can and should be a huge part of that.

Unfortunately, many believe that creativity is something you either have or you don’t. Even talented and creative individuals who work in the arts have suggested this it the case. However, this is simply not the case.T

Like any skill—sports, music, programming, or even math—creativity requires practice. The more time you spend being creative, the more refined and impressive your creativity becomes. I am not suggesting everyone can (or even should) be a Shakespeare, Rembrandt, or Beethoven. But none of those individuals became the icons they are because they just decided to sit down one day and kick out masterpieces. It took time and effort.

Why should you care? Creativity is best fostered in environments where teachers, parents, and mentors provide children with positive examples and give the space to practice this essential skill. When it comes to positive examples, few experiences compare to having a living author in the classroom. It’s an experience your students will never forget. I might even spark a creative fire that will change lives.
